No one likes to buy fake brand-name products at high prices, but the market has the most fake brand-name flash drives. In order to provide consumers with a way to correctly identify the authenticity of USB flash drives, PVC U disk manufacturers have integrated the anti-counterfeiting practices of major brands in the market and made a brief introduction.
Generally speaking, brand-name flash drives use triple anti-counterfeiting measures. Consumers can distinguish the authenticity of the product according to the following three methods:
1. Make 800 calls
A complete 800 anti-counterfeit telephone inquiry label should be on the side of the packaging box of each product of a regular company’s famous brand. Scratch off the fluorescent coating on the label, there is a set of 18-digit digital codes. Call the 800 free inquiry number on the anti-counterfeiting label and enter the 18-digit code as prompted. If it is the first inquiry, the system will inform whether the code is a genuine product code produced by the company.
2. Check the serial number
The second method is to have a serial number on the side of the box of each flash drive product, and the contents of the two serial numbers (on the box and on the product) should be exactly the same. If the serial number is not correct, it is a fake and inferior product in all likelihood. Or it is not new and has been exchanged. It is not recommended to buy.
3. Product “attribute” query
When using the product, right-click the flash drive letter in the “My Computer” column, select “Properties”, and select the “Hardware” column in the pop-up window, and the “×××” logo will be displayed. (Note ×××× is generally the English model of the brand, but some display Chinese)
If the above three conditions are met at the same time, then it must be a regular brand-name product. Other counterfeit products are generally not so comprehensive and meticulous in terms of anti-counterfeiting. As long as we observe carefully, we will find differences.
